A Highly Coveted Neighborhood

In 1985, developer Ken Hodge purchased the land now known as Canyon Oaks from Mr. Rayzor. On July 29, 1985, the first Property Covenants, Conditions and Restrictions were filed on the property. These became the basis for our current HOA documents. Today there are 159 lots with 158 homes in Canyon Oaks. 

The Canyon Oaks Homeowners Association was formed in 1987 with 17 homeowners attending the first Annual Meeting. Canyon Oaks Home Owners Association, Denton, was incorporated in 2007 and holds an Annual meeting with provisions to hold special meetings as well. 

COHAD is a voluntary association which provides all the street lighting and entrance maintenance for Canyon Oaks. COHAD also provides and sponsors social activities throughout the year.
